About Me
Academic Background
I read and teach Literatures in English. I believe literature opens the easiest route to wider worlds, cultures and languages, otherwise lesser known. With a PhD in English Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, I specialize in the following fields: Literature and Cities, Indian English Writing, Postcolonial Anglophone Novel, and Dalit Literature. I am also interested in Posthumanism and Environmental Humanities. I am currently working as an Assistant Professor (English) in the School of Liberal Arts, IIT Jodhpur.
